Purpose                    of

consultancy:

To support CSOs engagement for tracking the implementation status of treaty body recommendations on GBV through increased national capacity to monitor the Government’s international human rights commitments.

Scope of work:

Supporting CSOs engagement for tracking the implementation status of treaty body recommendations on GBV

• Development of the training materials, including handout for Monitoring and Reporting, pp presentations on implementation of the treaty body recommendations on GBV prevention and response, based on UNFPA’s UPR Report1 and UPR materials;
• Finalizing of the training materials based on feedbacks received from key stakeholders.
• Conduct 3 days capacity building training for the staff of the CSOs on tracking the implementation of the recommendations and conducting effective  and coordinated advocacy action.

Duration  and  working schedule:

September 15, 2017 – November 10, 2017

• 10 days (September 15, 2017 – September 25, 2017) – Development of the draft training materials (handout for Monitoring and Reporting, pp presentations, agenda, etc.) and training evaluation documents (pre and post- evaluation forms);
• 2 days (September 27, 2017) – Submission of the draft training materials and the training evaluation documents (pre and post-evaluation forms);
• 5 days (October 10- 15, 2017) – Finalizing of the training materials, based on feedbacks received from UNFPA CO;
• 2 days (October 17, 2017) – Submission of the final version of the training materials and evaluation documents;
• 3 days (November 3-5, 2017) – Conducting capacity building training for the staff of the CSOs on tracking the implementation of the recommendations and conducting effective and coordinated advocacy action.

Delivery dates and how work will be delivered (e.g. electronic, hard copy etc.):

• September 27, 2017: the electronic copies of the draft training materials and training evaluation documents will be sent to review/comments by UNFPA CO and project partners;
• October 17, 2017: Submission of the final version of the training materials and evaluation documents;
• November 3-5, 2017: 3 days capacity building training will be held in Baku.
